Renault pulls the plug on sub-brand Moblize

What actually happened at Renault and Mobilize? 

Mobilize was created as an innovative way for new mobility solutions, such as car-sharing, energy services, micro-vehicles and data-driven services. 

After several years, Renault concluded that:

• many projects were not profitable and unlikely to become profitable;
  
  

• several initiatives were too far removed from Renault’s core business;
  
  

• tighter market conditions required a stronger focus on profitability and simplicity.

As a result, Mobilize was dissolved as a standalone organisation

The Mobilize section on the Renault Group website has now been fully removed, as showed underneath.
