The Filante was revealed in Seoul, South Korea, where Renault aims to establish a strong presence in Asia’s upscale vehicle markets. It will roll off the assembly line at Renault Korea’s Busan plant, marking a strategic shift for the company toward international growth beyond its traditional European base.
This model is the fifth key vehicle in Renault’s International Game Plan 2027, a €3 billion plan to launch eight new cars and expand Renault’s footprint across 80 countries.
Unlike many SUVs in Renault’s lineup, the Filante’s design leans into coupe-like proportions — a sleek, dynamic silhouette with an elegant profile and a bold lighting signature that communicates premium intent.
Under the skin, the Filante is powered by a new 250 hp E-Tech full hybrid powertrain that combines a 1.5-liter petrol engine with electric motors and a 1.64 kWh battery. This setup delivers 250 PS and 565 Nm of torque, balancing performance with efficiency — a priority for premium buyers who want both refinement and economy.
The Filante will go on sale in South Korea starting March 2026, with launches in the Gulf region and South America expected to be early 2027.
